Words From A Grateful Dog Mom
Â
I am incredibly grateful for the support of Dr. Loudon and the Dog Mom Society Pack. If I had found Dr. Loudon before having to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our first Ridgeback, he might still be with us today.
Dr. Loudon has been so supportive—answering all my questions about feeding, vaccinations, and behavior for our new puppy. One especially challenging moment came when our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy went in for his Accuplex test. To my surprise, the vet tech called to say it came back positive for Ehrlichia (a tick-borne disease) and that we would need to place him on antibiotics for a full month costing $450. I panicked and shared the news at that Friday’s Pack Chat. After Dr. Loudon reviewed his test results she recommended two additional tests with specific codes. He came back negative! We were able to avoid both the cost of unnecessary antibiotics and the impact it would have had on my pup’s health.
We also had a scare with tiny bumps on our pup’s body, and her guidance helped us resolve it quickly.Â
Being part of Dog Moms has supported my dog’s health in such a tangible way and has brought me a deep sense of calm and confidence as his guardian.

"I am a dog mom who loves her fur babies and only wants the very best for them. I have found that with Dr. Loudon and the Dog Mom Society. I have been looking for someone with Dr. Loudon’s credentials and experience for guidance with my dog’s eating and health issues.
She is present at the zoom meeting each week giving expert instruction and advice. This group is not a send in your question and you are not sure who is answering back. Excellent group of people and learning from everyone’s questions and experiences. Sign up now and you will not be disappointed."

"As someone who cares for senior and hospice dogs every day, I thought I had a solid handle on canine wellness. But joining The Dog Mom Society gave me a whole new level of knowledge, resources, and community support. Dr. Loudon’s expertise is incredible—she blends holistic and practical care in a way that’s easy to apply, even in the most complex cases.
What I love most is the community. These women truly understand the ups and downs of advocating for dogs, and they’re always ready with encouragement, solutions, and compassion. It’s become like a family for me—a place where I’m understood, supported, and inspired.
The Dog Mom Society has not only helped me be a better advocate for our dogs at Monkey’s House, but it’s also reminded me to take better care of myself along the way."
